My old friend Mike Schiff, over at the message board, helpfully reminded us on this April Fool’s Day about the “joke release lists” that Roger Feigelson from Intrada would post on this day in the 1990s.
The joke being—most of these have been released as actual CDs.
That’s pretty amazing, that not only do these exist now, but we take for granted that they were once so far-fetched there was obvious humor attached to pretend-announcing them.
I hate all the unfunny pranks and joke announcements that pop up on this day, by the way. Sometimes they’re funny...but usually not.
Still waiting for a 2CD set of Johnny Douglas Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends!
