Sad news this morning—Julee Cruise has died at the age of 65.
What a wonderful, unique talent and voice. She is, of course, best known for her collaborations with Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch:

Truly sad to read this morning. I had a few chats with her via Facebook ages ago, and she was every bit the quirky, cool & unique persona as found in the Lynch-verse. A rare, unique soul, RIP
