We have a couple of copies of Hackers by Boswell on Varèse Sarabande, $18.
We have a couple of rare Alan Howarth “AHI” expanded editions from the Halloween films: Halloween II: 30th Anniversary, $35, and Halloween III: Season of the Witch, $25.
We have a copy of Hangover Square/Five Fingers, early Herrmann scores at Fox, on Kritzerland for $18.
We have a copy of the sold out Intrada Bear McCreary CD, Happy Death Day 2U, for $25.
Harlem Nights is an 1980s Herbie Hancock score that Quartet Records released, $35.
Any Blade Runner collectors out there? We have a unique, BR-related item, Harps of the Ancient Temples, a Gail Laughton harp album on Laurel Records (classical label). Track 3 is this piece, “Pompeii 76 A.D.,” that was used in Blade Runner, where the bootlegs call it “Bicycle Riders”:
The Blade Runner Off World bootleg obviously used a vinyl rip (you can hear it skip) but this was evidently mastered from the original tapes. The entire album is quite nice. Discogs calls it a CDR and looking at the disc, it’s possible as there seems to be a subtle green tint to the underside of the disc, and no etched manufacturing code. There are zero copies at eBay, and one copy for $100 at Discogs. We’re asking $65 for ours.
We have a copy of the La-La Land Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban which was separated from the box set, $35. My favorite Potter film and score!
Hawkins on Murder/Winter Kill/Babe was a Goldsmith 1970s TV album we did at FSM. Proud of this one—some fun early synth twangs!
We have two copies, here and here, of the out-of-print 2CD He-Man and the Masters of the Universe from La-La Land. I have the power! $65
This Dave Grusin two-fer on Kritzerland is a must: Heaven Can Wait/Racing With the Moon. Heaven Can Wait is one of Grusin’s finest hours (of which there are many). It’s long out of print, $45.
Heidi is an early John Williams TV score. We have the expanded Quartet for $25, and the vintage Label X for $18.
One of the most in-demand Varèse Sarabande Deluxe Editions of recent years is Hellboy by Beltrami. We have a copy for $95. The best price on eBay right now is $125, and it’s $119 on Discogs.
Back tomorrow with more!
I know this a sacrilege, but what is it about the Blade Runner score. I do not get it, nor did i get it whilst watching the movie in a near deserted theater in the summer of 82.
