FSMCDs Fulfillment Policy

We sell soundtrack CDs and some related items (Blu-Rays, classical CDs, books about film music), typically used and on consignment from private collectors.

Purchase currency is U.S. dollars.

Refunds are offered for damaged or mislabeled items, lost shipments, or within reason if the item is unsatisfactory.

Shipping is typically by USPS for U.S. orders, and via Asendia for international orders. UPS and other carriers may be used in special circumstances or upon request.

Shipping is typically within three days, but may be up to 7–10 days. If longer, we will advise.

Returns are offered in good faith. Please contact via email with your return request and we will make every effort to accommodate.

Orders may be canceled upon request if not yet shipped.

We are not aware of any export restrictions for our products.

Your customer information is maintained with confidentially. Your privacy is important to us. We do not sell our mailing list or disclose our customers to third parties.

We are not presently offering any promotions. Our position is that we already have low prices!

Our website is secure and verified by third parties. We adhere to PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards and your information is handled safely and privately.

Important shopping notes:

1) Please create an account, if you have not done so, before you shop! That way items will stay in your shopping cart while you browse. The carts are set to hold your selections exclusively for six hours, if you’re logged in. After that, items will remain in your cart, but will be available to other collectors as well.

2) U.S. customers, if your order qualifies for free shipping ($50 or more), you have to choose that during the check out process. (Has to do with how bare-bones our site is.) If you forget, I can manually reverse it, just email me.

We have launched our sale of the TIM KNAPP COLLECTION on February 27, 2024. Tim was a longtime collector who passed away after a short illness. I remember him from our FSM subscriber rolls going back decades. It is his family’s fondest wish that his cherished CDs end up in the hands of people who will adore them as he did.

Here is a spreadsheet you can use at the start of the sale which is more easy to sort and search through than the e-commerce site, for technical reasons. The only thing you can’t do with it is order—but you can use it to make notes.

CONDITION

SEALED means it’s mint, sealed in the original shrink wrap. USED means it’s been opened. “NOTCHED” means that it was designated as a promotional copy, usually by stamping a hole in the barcode—sometimes by physically notching into the jewel box, but that’s fortunately a rarity with CDs.

QUANTITIES

Each item is one of a kind! When there is more than one, we list it as separate items.

TRACKING

You will be notified automatically when your order ships of the tracking number.

CUSTOMS (overseas orders)

Please do not ask us to grotesquely undervalue your order. We appreciate that customs duties add a surcharge to your order...we’re truly sorry.

In the past, we have occasionally listed things as gifts for minimal value, upon the insistence of the customer—and it has sometimes resulted in packages being seized.

So we cannot do it.

SHIPPING RATES

For U.S.A. customers ONLY—if you order $50 or more, SHIPPING IS FREE!

We regret that we can’t extend this to anybody outside the U.S. These rates today are insane, as we all know and have complained.

USA, orders under $50: $6.00 for the first CD (album) and $2.00 for each additional.

CANADA: $10.00 for the first CD (album) and $2.50 for each additional.

ALL OTHER COUNTRIES: $13.00 for first CD (album) and $3.00 for each additional.
