Well that happened fast. You’ve probably heard about the fires in Los Angeles. They are raging out of control and it is very scary and very sad.
We are quite south of the Eaton fire and in no real danger—if we went, it would mean there’s no more Pasadena—but of course we know people affected. Terrible.
Last night was a ferocious windstorm and today it is smoky and gross outside. The kids’ school was canceled.
Let’s hope the weather turns and they can get these fires under control.
So awful. I grew up in Chino, so part of me will always be a Californian. Hang in there, and I hope all your friends and loved ones come out of it okay.
