Author Laura Kalpakian, aka Bear McCreary’s Mom

I did not know that composer Bear McCreary’s mom is an author. I read a remembrance she wrote of one of Bear and his brother Brendan’s lifelong friends.

I also did not know that she is a very good author!

A very sad story, but beautifully written.
