CDs in Stock Part 25

Reminder: New CD and film music book sale goes live tomorrow, Tuesday, October 1st at 10AM Pacific—see you then!

We have a copy of the National Geographic CD from Intrada with scores by Gold and Rosenman, $15.

Sometimes we get things in these collections and I have no idea what they are. We have a 4CD set of The Last Waltz by The Band in a bound book, $25. Looks pretty nice.

We have both 2CD sets of Laurence Rosenthal music that the composer did with Intrada for promotional purposes in the 1990s—the film one, $25, and television, $12. These are really terrific samplers and I remember enjoying listening to them back in the day.

We have the Laurette/Prince Jack (Bernstein) Kritzerland CD, $15.

We have several of the Universal France collections in digipaks. One that I didn’t know existed was the second volume of Antoine Duhamel tracks, $35. I am a big fan of his French new wave music.

We have a sealed copy of Quartet’s Le Isole Dell’Amore by Umiliani, $35.

We have a copy of Legal Eagles by Bernstein on Intrada, $18.

I was so happy when Intrada released The Legend of the Lone Ranger by John Barry—one of those uniquely tuneful Barry creations! We have a copy of the out-of-print title, $45.

We have copies of three of the Legendary Hollywood CDs from Citadel: the North, Rózsa, and Salter editions. Nice collecctions.

We have a copy of Les Petrouleuses/Dans la Poussiere du Soleil by Lai, on Quartet, $35.

We have a sealed copy of Less Than Zero by Thomas Newman on La-La Land, $18.

We have a copy of James Horner’s The Life Before Her Eyes on Lakeshore, $45. Keep in mind this was a “promo” copy and the barcode was torn (to prevent sale).

We have a copy of the expanded Lifeforce (Mancini) on BSX, $18.

The Light Between Oceans is a typically gorgeous Desplat score, on Lakeshore, $25.

We have a copy of the Lili CD (Kaper) we did at FSM, $18.

Here’s some total 1980s Goldsmith earworm: Link, on Varèse Sarabande, we have a copy for $8.

We have a copy of the expanded 2003 EMI CD of Live and Let Die, $12.

More 1980s Goldsmith: The Lonely Guy, on Intrada, $35.

We have the original Cabin Fever release of Lonesome Dove, one of Basil Poledouris’ best. If you’ve never heard it, please pick it up for $3!

Finally, today, we have a couple of copies of Goldsmith’s last score, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, the Deluxe Edition 2CD set from Varèse Sarabande, $30.

We’ll stop here today. See you tomorrow morning for the new titles. Thanks!
