The Belstone Fox is a lovely Laurie Johnson score, very British Isles flavored, on BSX for $10.
We have a bunch of Ben-Hur releases, including three copies of the 5CD set FSM release: sealed, used and cracked case. So proud of this one. Worth the $65 ($70 for the sealed).
Beneath the 12-Mile Reef is one of Bernard Herrmann’s most beguiling creations (and that’s saying a lot), his sweeping “underwater” music. We have the FSM for $25 or the hard-to-find Kritzerland version for $65 (copy one and copy two).
We have three copies of the FSM Beneath the Planet of the Apes, here, here and here. $20
Esa-Pekka Salonen conducted this terrific album of Herrmann pieces, The Film Scores. We have a $1 copy of the regular edition, as well as a $45 copy of the SACD release.
We have the FSM Alfred Newman release, The Best of Everything, for $10.
We have the original, British That’s Entertainment Records release of Best Shot by Jerry Goldsmith, which is what they retitled Hoosiers internationally (for people who had no idea what a Hoosier was). $8
Another FSM, the first Friedhofer album we did and one of my favorites: Between Heaven and Hell/Soldier of Fortune, we have three copies at $15, here, here and here. The theme to Soldier of Fortune is such a good tune!
One of my favorite, late Jerry Fielding scores is Beyond the Poseidon Adventure, which Intrada released—we have one copy for $45.
We have two copies of the La-La Land Big Top Pee-Wee, for $25, here and here.
We have three copies of the out-of-print La-La Land Big Trouble in Little China, here, here and here. $35 (Those are actually two versions, LLLCD 1086 and 1386. I get confused!)
Finally, today, a rare Japanese release of Bilitis, from SLC, and this one is used but has the obi strip safely inside the booklet. $35
Back tomorrow!
