UPDATE: Any donor who missed getting the final corrected pdfs of the Goldsmith books, you can email the author, Jeff Bond, at jeffbond66@gmail.com to request the download link/portal.

I don’t have much to add, as everything I am comfortable sharing, I already did.

I just want to reiterate my sympathies for those who are out their money, and my hope that the books will one day get printed.

I can also reiterate my offer that if the only way to get enough money to print them is to monetize Creature Features’ various other half-completed projects, I could review them to see what I could take on. But I’m not going to go chasing these.

Our Kickstarter for the 35th anniversary of FSM just crossed $30K, thank you! I’m so excited to get a new website and message board in place. We will try to give preview images of the designs in the days ahead.

I am pushing to get to $50K—I think we can—and hope people continue to donate.

One other takeaway I had about the Goldsmith book drama is that we are a community of people who love film music, and I’m proud to offer a free forum where we can be together.

I’m always frustrated that the discourse is not more elevated, but I’m not the opinion police.

I’ve spent 35 years trying to foster a community to discuss and appreciate film music, which really goes back to me being 14 years old and not having anybody to talk to.

Thanks for being a part of it...and I hope one day we get our books. But rest assured with my Kickstarter, everything will be delivered on time, as promised!
