Cool Stuff in Stock

ree

We are a week or two away from unveiling the updated and redesigned Film Score Monthly website and I’m so excited! It’s all thanks to you, the fans who supported us on Kickstarter.

However, as these projects are wont to do—it went overbudget. Not a lot, but enough that things are tight here. Fortunately I have a way to close the gap, which is our trusty used CDs store, www.fsmcds.com.

So many people have been buying from us regularly, I’m truly grateful. And I never want to overwhelm the audience. But if you were on the fence about some things, well, this would be a great time to pick up some CDs that will cost you way more on eBay than at our store.

Here are some goodies, one copy only...

Friday the 13th I-VI box set. It’s typcially $230 and up on eBay, we have one copy (actually, Intrada founder Doug Fake’s personal copy) for only $145.

Innerspace: The complete score release from La-La Land Record, classic 1980s Jerry Goldsmith/Joe Dante sci-fi score, so much fun! $65. We also have, by the way, a reissue of the Geffen original album (half Goldsmith, half songs), for $15.

Superman: The Movie: La-La Land 3CD set, a sealed copy, for $85.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence: Another La-La Land 3CD set of a Williams classic, we have one copy for $65.

I have to leave it here for now. It’s actually time-consuming to type these up and add all the links. Suffice it to say there are a lot of goodies in stock and this would be a great time to pick some up.

Here’s a spreadsheet of the inventory, or use the search engine on the store itself, which is much improved.

I suppose it’s just part of the life cycle of a store like this that, as people get the things they’ve wanted, the rare items take longer to sell. By that metric, we’ve done a great job!

There is a lot of really cool stuff in these cardboard bins that take up my living room and I would like to get them out of my house and into yours—and use that $$$ to finish up the FSM site!

Thanks!
