Farewell to Ted Nichols

Ted Nichols has died at the age of 97. Here’s the Hollywood Reporter’s obituary.


He was the music director at Hanna-Barbera from 1964 to 1972—so it was actually Nichols, and not Hoyt Curtin, who wrote those fantastic, jazzy action-adventure themes that I used to love on Saturday morning reruns.
