James Horner Kickstarter Sessions
Hello Kickstarter Supporters!
Thank you for your support of our James Horner TV music album. The moment is about to arrive as the recording sessions kick off tomorrow morning at 9AM at Smecky Studios in Prague—which is actually midnight tonight Pacific time in the U.S.
Angel Dusted and A Piano for Mrs. Cimino will be recorded on the 8th, A Few Days at Weasel Creek on the 9th, and then the "Pied Piper" score from Faerie Tale Theatre on the 10th (a shorter afternoon session).
I have been in communication with our executive producers who are attending the sessions, and also have distributed to the YouTube viewing links to our qualifying donors—so they (you) should be all set.
If by some chance you are one of those groups and never heard—write me! LukasKendallMV@gmail.com. I will take care of you!
With little kids at home, I am not making the trip, but will be following along and have every faith in Leigh Phillips and his team to make this sound fantastic. Many thanks to Leigh and to the team at Neumation Music for getting the scores prepped and ready.
We will be starting work on the liner notes and packaging so that we can have the CD out asap through our partners at La-La Land Records. Not sure of a release date yet—stay tuned.
Thank you all and so excited to hear the results!
Lukas Kendall
