Jeanne Jones Collection Part 1, A Through C Titles

As I wrote yesterday, there is an abundance of promos, cut-outs, industry CDRs, and rare but low-priced odds and ends. Jeanne scoured the local record stores (like Aron’s) and made sure to grab every For Your Consideration CD or CDR that popped up.

Just a heads up to our California customers: we now have to collect sales tax on orders going to California addresses. Not my choice, but it’s the law, sorry!

By the way, in the pic above—kind of cool, but Jeanne had a ton of Varèse Sarabande titles, a lot of them from the label’s early years. Check out the first pressing of Aliens from 1986 (the one with the title and composer on one line) without the barcode, compared to the later edition:

We are continuing to process the balance of the collection as fast as we can—it is very time-consuming, as there are so many obscure items that need to be newly entered, and the condition of everything needs to be carefully scrutinized with all the punched, drilled and notched CDs.

We’re on the case! And thinking of Jeanne, who would love the fact that her prized collectibles are going to people who will truly appreciate them.
