Our FSM 35th anniversary Kickstarter is entering week three; the halfway point is Wednesday, and it wraps up end of day Thursday, July 10th.
Thank you to everybody who has contributed, spread the word and sent nice thoughts!
Having done one of these campaigns before, I know how the middle weeks are what we call “the doldrums.” Most of the support comes at the beginning and the very end. But I’ve happily been doing daily programming at my blog, and reaching out to friends who have generously promoted the campaign via their mailing lists.
We are already building the new site, having reached our initial goal, and the only question now is how powerful, elaborate and cool the new site will be.
We’re also consolidating our web operations by moving FSMCDs.com to the new company we’re using. It’s temporarily down but we will have it back soon, and have another 500 or so CDs to list as well.
The Ray Ellis Filmation CD is almost done as far as mastering and liner notes, and I hope to tease some cool tracks later this week.
I’ve gone through our archives looking for fun articles to post, and it always reminds me how much I love film music. It’s been a lifelong fascination and a privilege to share my enthusiasm with my fellow fans and aficionados.
Stay tuned and more to come!
