Larry Bird Trash Talking

I have been watching and enjoying season two of Winning Time. Last week’s episode delved into the backstory of the Boston Celtics’ great, Larry Bird, well played by Sean Patrick Small.

Of course, as a New England kid, my childhood allegiance was to Bird and the Celtics. So watching Winning Time is almost as weird and difficult for me as, well, a show about the Yankees would be.

Much is made in the show about Bird’s reputation for “trash talking,” which made me seek out videos of the real thing. And there are plenty!
