Andor Season 2

Andor season two has been worth the wait. I watched the last of the available episodes, “Welcome to the Rebellion,” it’s a masterpiece.

The storytelling is so top-notch but also, looking at the sprawling sets and immaculate costumes—what incredible worldbuilding.

Turns out the secret to great filmmaking is simpler than you would think: make it real. Real people, real consequences, real human reactions. That doesn’t mean it’s easy, but it’s not a mystery.

I found one of my pre-release columns where I predicted this show would be great, based on the pedigree of the creators. It was not a hard prediction to make, but I am glad I was right!
