Price Cuts at FSMCDs

So here’s the situation at FSMCDs.com. This is a weird problem to have—but we have it.

We have a collection that just came that we are processing to sell in September. We’ll have a lot more about it soon because it’s really cool, and really big, and has the juicy collector editions that always sell like hotcakes.

But we literally have no place to put it.

The way our “warehouse” works (just a big room in an office building—it used to be my house!), we have six-foot fold-out tables from Target, and on each table are eight white boxes from Uline. Each box holds 108 CDs.

And the collections are spread around the room more or less in alphabetical order:

When the tables fill up—and there isn’t room to add any more—then we’ve got to start putting boxes on boxes, or on the floor...and it becomes unwieldy very fast.

Which is where we’re at.

So today we are marking down a new tranche of titles that have been in stock for a year or more—going way below market prices just to blow them out and clear table space.

Yes, it’s a day for PRICE CUTS!!!

We have updated the FSMCDs.com site so you simply click “ON SALE” on the home page to get to the sale list. Please review that list as you will find all sorts of goodies at newly discounted prices.

You can also check a spreadsheet of current inventory. You can sort this sheet by column (just click on the column header). The collections discounted today have these product codes: SCOCL, SNT, SHA925, COW, PAZ and DMK.

Keep in mind the sale prices do not show on the spreadsheet (only at FSMCDs.com), just the final list prices, whether they are on sale or not.

I know that’s a bit confusing, but we are working to make the store simpler and better to use. You’ll find some new functionality with the shopping carts today, having to do with adding or deleting items.

But wait, there’s more!

We’ve also discounted some items to $0.00—meaning, they are FREE. Click on the main list at FSMCDs.com and sort by price. All the free stuff will be listed on the first page.

Please don’t be shy, or embarrassed, to grab as much of it as you want. We need it out of here!

The postage, of course, does add up—but U.S. customers, keep in mind shipping becomes FREE at $50 (you do, however, have to select this in the checkout stage).

So if you are in the U.S. and buy more than $50 worth, the free titles truly are free.

International customers: we have been asked from time to time to remove the jewel boxes so the items are way less costly to ship. It takes some time, but we have done it, and it does, in fact, vastly reduce the postage.
