Soundtrack Swap Meet
Tomorrow, Saturday 10/22/22, is Peter Hackman’s annual Fans of Film Music event. The 10AM composer panel is sold out but you can watch the livestream. (YouTube link: https://youtu.be/8iwYkZ1xT8Y.)
I’m proud that this evolved from an informal gathering I held in 2008 and 2009. It was fun for a couple of times, but I didn’t feel like making an annual event of it—but Peter did, so that’s great!
I can’t make it to the morning panel—but I will be at the afternoon “Soundtrack Swap Meet” at Creature Features. Here’s the info:
Creature Features Soundtrack Super Sale! SATURDAY OCT. 22nd - 2PM - 5PM CREATURE FEATURES’ Soundtrack Super Sale will take place on Saturday, October 22nd from 2pm to 5pm at 160 E. Montecito Avenue, Unit D in Sierra Madre, CA 91024. The location is an industrial office and warehouse complex, not a storefront, so we ask that you park on the street and walk into the complex. Our orange CREATURE FEATURES placard will be placed directly at the front entrance to mark your destination. Payments can be accepted with cash, all major credit cards, PayPal and Zelle. If you have advance requests for specific soundtrack titles, please e-mail them to: email@example.com and we will hold them for you upon your arrival. As always, thank you for your support and we look forward to serving you this weekend!
Also, as a reminder, fans of Rod Serling’s Night Gallery—please check out the Kickstarter for the newest book from Creature Features Publishing, an updated and greatly expanded 2nd edition of Rod Serling’s Night Gallery: An After-Hours Tour. There are tons of cool perks drawn from Nightgallery.net.
The pandemic has been such a rough time—so I’m looking forward to reconnecting with many of you in person. (I know most of you aren’t in L.A.—sorry!)
See you there!
