Star Wars Piano Roll

I can’t believe the growing abundance of YouTube videos of film scores presented as orchestrations, reductions, piano reductions and now piano rolls (like the above). It’s all completely unlicensed but I guess too hard or to police or not worth the trouble?

Above is one of my favorite pieces from The Empire Strikes Back where I always loved the dissonance of the “funeral march” in certain chords, but lacked the sophistication to figure it out on our piano at home. Well, there it is above—and below:

This channel from Justin Brown has a ton of fun stuff, including Ron Jones’ “The Best of Both Worlds” from ST:TNG.
