We have finished our Kickstarter to record a new album of James Horner’s 1980s television music past the original goal and past the stretch goal as well—thank you!
Truly, thank you to all the donors, and I also want to shout out everybody who helped spread the word—including friends at Neumation Music, La-La Land Records, Intrada, Screen Archives and BuySoundtrax who generously helped with the publicity.
The campaign is set to enable late backers for anybody wanting to add your support—we can always use it here at FSM!
Also thanks to our art director Joe Sikoryak (since 1997!) who came up with these posters to show where the projects fit in James Horner’s filmography:

And, I can’t say this too many times, thank you to the backers and people who really went out of their way to make the project visible at the FSM board, on Facebook and social media, and beyond.
We’ve been optimistic about getting funded and making plans for the music prep and recording—so now we’ll formalize those plans and advise the recording dates as soon as we know them. The recording will take place at Smecky Studios in Prague this year.
Onward—and thank you!
