Andor Season 2

Andor is back and it is sooooo good.

Just look at the opening scene of season 2. Not even the action part (no spoilers here) but the moment with Andor and the poor woman scared of what might happen to her if she’s caught helping him—and even what will happen to her life if she gets away with it.

There is more humanity in this opening scene than in entire seasons of some of the other Star Wars shows, with their goofy chases and spectacle.

The strange thing about it is that once you understand what Tony Gilroy is doing, it’s not even that hard. I mean, of course it’s hard, but it’s so simple: just slow down and find the humanity. The little things. What would happen if this was actually happening in reality?

I am careful not to binge watch because I want to enjoy every moment. We may never get a show this big and this good again.
