We have an assortment of the La-La Land Friday the 13th titles in stock, they start near the bottom of this page at the site.
We have a copy of the out-of-print Fright Night from Intrada, we’re asking $65.
From the Terrace is a lovely Elmer Bernstein soap score we released from the Fox vaults a long time ago, $18.
We have a sealed copy of the excellent Kritzerland 2CD set, Fuller at Fox, with Hell at High Water, Pickup at South Street and House of Bamboo, $35. I saw Pickup at South Street in a film noir class at college in the 1990s and loved the main title music.
Next we have a pretty neat assortment of Academy Awards “For Your Consideration” (FYC) CDs. These are the promos sent out in recent years to Academy members which end up on the secondary market. They’re a little hard to list because when they’re sealed, I don’t want to unseal them but it’s otherwise hard to find out whether they’re a pressed disc or a CDR. We had many dozens more of these a month ago, but they sold fast. It’s also hard to identify whether they just contain the commercial soundtrack album program or previously unreleased music.
The ones we have in stock now that might appeal to collectors include Dream House (Debney), The Family Stone (Giacchino), Ferdinand (Powell), Frankenweenie (Elfman), Frost/Nixon (Zimmer), The Girl on the Train (Elfman), The Grinch (Elfman), How to Train Your Dragon: Best Score and Song (Powell), My Best Friend’s Wedding (Howard), On the Basis of Sex (Danna), The Power of the Dog (Greenwood), Red Sparrow (Howard), Revolutionary Road (Newman) and War of the Worlds (Williams).
We have a copy of A Gathering of Eagles (early Goldsmith score) on Varèse Sarabande for $20.
We have a copy of the Warner France release of The Gauntlet, the terrific Jerry Fielding action-jazz score for the Clint Eastwood film, $15.
We have a copy of Genocide by Elmer Bernstein on Intrada for $10. I remember when this came out, wow.
Some interesting and low-priced Delerue collections in stock: Musiques de Films from Fremeaux Entertainment for $8, also Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 of The London Sessions from Varèse, $5.
Get Carter is the seminal Roy Budd score for the Michael Caine gangster film. There’s not a lot of music in the picture, but the main title is so cool. We have the Cinephile release, a punched copy for $8.
We have a copy of the original Varèse Sarabande CD of Elmer Bernstein’s re-recording of Herrmann’s masterpiece, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, $12.
We have a copy of the Intrada expanded edition of Goldsmith’s The Ghost and the Darkness, $45. Also the original album release for only $5.
Finally, we have an autographed copy of Lee Holdridge’s The Giant of Thunder Mountain, on Citadel. We’re asking $25.
More tomorrow, thanks!
