I didn’t realize the scale of devastation to our city when I posted yesterday morning.
Above is a pic of Altadena. I know at least two friends who lost their homes there.
We’ve had fires before but they’ve raged mostly on hillsides. These fires are ravaging densely populated areas. Schools are canceled. Some schools have burned down.
For people asking, my family is okay and we are unlikely to be threatened, just based on the luck of where our neighborhood is.
My heart breaks for the people not so lucky.
