Today (6/21) is the first day of summer—and the birthday of the one and only Lalo Schifrin. I was reminded of this by a post from Robert Townson on Facebook.
Here is the tribute video that Bob and his team put together at their 85th birthday concert for Lalo in 2017 in Glendale, which I happily attended:
