I was such a TV junkie as a kid. Cartoons, action-adventure, sitcoms, Star Trek, old movies, sports—I watched probably way too much.
Our kids barely watch any TV. Almost never, I would say.
Instead they are on their screens (iPads), watching YouTube videos of who knows what. And playing games.
It’s a different kind of cultural education. We’ll have to see the results!
Why can’t they be like we were, perfect in every way?
Agreed. My kids are in the same situation. That's the problem with this generation. They need to be put on a digital diet. Short attention span is going to be one of the first symptoms and if you dare deprive them of their online access be it mobile phones, iPad or YouTube you will be reminded of that scene from The Omen when Damian arrives at the church!
