Scratch and Dent Copies

Yesterday I gave an update on the Kickstarter fulfillment which is being held up by a number of defective copies of the Best of FSM book that Amazon sent us. Argh!
I really appreciate how well everybody understood the update and offered their nice words.
A few people expressed interest in buying discounted “scratch and dent” copies, and Amazon has confirmed they don’t need the defective copies back. So we’ve listed them on our website.
To buy a pristine copy (we hope!) please order from Amazon, where you can find some sample pages as well.
We did add seven CDs this morning, including a copy of Intrada’s out-of-print 2CD set of The Eiger Sanction. Here is a spreadsheet of our total inventory, and please go to www.fsmcds.com to order.
Thank you!
Independent authors often discover that publishing involves far more than writing the manuscript. Editing, cover design, distribution, and marketing each play a role in whether a book actually reaches readers. At a small writers’ meetup, the discussion turned toward different self-publishing services and how authors choose between them. One participant mentioned browsing AuthorHouse reviews while comparing various publishing platforms that offer editing assistance and distribution support. For many first-time writers, reading other authors’ experiences becomes part of the decision process, especially when evaluating contracts, royalty structures, and how widely a finished book might be distributed once production is complete.
