I’ve been going through the FSMCDs.com store catalog for over a month, so I haven’t had time to plug interesting things I’ve seen, heard or come across.
A shout-out to David Page at his YouTube channel for resuming his deep-dives into the Star Trek: The Original Series scores. His newest video is about Jerry Fielding’s “Spectre of the Gun” score, which I’ve always loved—including score examples incredibly taken down by ear.
I didn’t realize until I saw this video that the Melkots’ theme is a 12-tone row, but it makes total sense! Enjoy.
